- THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service, South Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a solicitation to replace doors, windows and shutters within Castillo de San Marcos, FL 32084, located in St Augustine, FL, St Johns County on or about March 08, 2018. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P5418R0012. This project remove and replace windows, exterior doors and remove and replace existing roll-down hurricane shutters and wooden side shutters with new colonial hurricane shutters. A detailed Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be provided with the solicitation documents. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 238350. The small business standard is $15M. All interested offers MUST have an active vendor record in SAM.gov, be a small business under the identified NAICS code and NOT have any exclusions such as a delinquent federal debt or debarment. SITE VISIT: Only one (1) site visit is scheduled for this action on March 20, 2018 at 10:00am (ET) in St Augustine, FL. Details will be provided with the solicitation. Any questions must be received via email by 10am (ET) on Mar 22, 2018 to Mary_Stefanos@nps.gov. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed-price contract is expected to be awarded towards the end of DATE. Note: Davis Bacon prevailing wages for St Johns County, FL will apply. The Government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The solicitation will be posted on FBO.gov (Federal Business Opportunities) on or about March 08, 2018. This date is subject to change. Hard copy documents including drawings will not be available - all available documents will be posted for download. Offers will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of solicitation unless extended by amendment. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. After issuance of solicitation, send any inquires via email to Mary_Stefanos @nps.gov by 10:00am(ET) on Mar 22, 2018. NO oral questions will be accepted. NOTE: No additional information is available until the solicitation is released.
