- Description
- The United States Bureau of Reclamation (USBR), Mid-Pacific Region, Acquisitions Divisions, Sacramento CA 95825, has a requirement to contract for the operation of certain Reserved Works facilities in Clear Lake and Gerber dams in the Klamath Basin Area Office (KBAO) in Klamath Oregon. The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed price purchase order with a Base Year with four (4) Option Years. The contractor shall provide all labor, management and transportation necessary to operate the dams in Clear Lake and Gerber Dams for the Klamath Basin Area Office (KBAO) in Klamath Falls, OR. Tasks include, but not limited to, visiting the dams to read, record, and report elevation of the reservoir water surface; make changes to in-flows as required/directed by KBAO or the District receiving irrigation water from the dams; report any changes in operations or deficiencies, and so forth. USBR is seeking interested sources from small business concerns that have the capability to satisfy this requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 221310, Water Supply and Irrigation Systems. The corresponding small business size standard is $27.5M. This is not a request for proposals, but instead market research to determine interested small business concerns prior to issuing a solicitation. A determination by the Government on the method to compete this requirement has not been established. The Government will not award a contract based on this notice (Source Sought), or the information received. The Government will not reimburse participants for the information they provide. Interested small-business concerns shall provide the following information: 1) Small business name, point of contact and phone number; 2) DUNS number and CAGE code; 3) Evidence of small business concern status; and 4). A brief Statement of Capability (no more than three pages) which demonstrates the ability to meet the specialized work requirements above. Include any past performance information on contracts of similar size and scope, and the degree of work self-performed. Also include past performance references with names and phone numbers. Electronic responses are preferred. Information provided will not be used as a part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information that is proprietary in nature. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses are due no later than Tuesday March 2, 2018, 5 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, via e-mail to dseggay@usbr.gov. Phone calls will not be accepted.
