Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 10, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Biomerieux, Inc. of Durham, NC for Cost-per-Test supplies for Biomerieux, Inc. Microbiology equipment, NAICS 325413 applies; the small business size standard is 1250 employees. The Contractor shall provide service and Cost-per-Test supplies for Microbiology for seven (7) VISN 10 locations for a period of the date of award for three (3) months with three (3), one (1) month option periods. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 3:00 pm on February 28, 2018. No telephone or email inquiries will be accepted. All responses must be mailed to VAAAHS, Attn: Thomas Auten, Contracting Officer, NCO 10 Contracting Office, and PO Box 492, Ann Arbor, MI 48106.
