- Draft task requirements The General Services Administration (GSA) is seeking sources for the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) Education and Research Professionals Recruiting effort. CONTRACTING OFFICE ADDRESS: GSA Contracting Division (5QZA) 1734 Corporate Crossing Suite 2 O'Fallon, IL 62269 INTRODUCTION: This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to determine the availability and technical capability of both large and small businesses (including the following subsets, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, HUBZone Firms; Certified 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, and Woman Owned Small Business) to provide the required services. The purpose of this effort is to provide access to external academic and industry professionals to support short and long term educational and research initiatives. On behalf of AFIT, GSA is seeking information from potential sources capable of providing these types of services. This is the first time this effort is being procured; therefore, no historical contract data exists. There is no current contract or incumbent contractor. DISCLAIMER: This sources sought notice is for informational purposes only. This is not a request for quote. It does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this technical description is strictly voluntary. SOURCES SOUGHT: This sources sought notice is requesting responses to the following criteria from all businesses that can provide the required services. SUBMISSION DETAILS: Responses should include: 1) Business name and address; 2) Name of company representative and their business title; 3) Type of Business (Small/Large/etc.) 4) Cage Code; 5) Detailed information addressing the Required Capabilities section above; 6) Information on any Contracting Vehicles this service could be provided under; 7) Past Performance Information on similar requirements. Response to the following: 1) Detailed responses on the ability to perform all of the services described in the Draft Task Requirements document. If the potential source is not currently capable of meeting all or a portion of the above requirements, but is planning to have these service capabilities in the future, the sources can provide information on the future capabilities of their business. 2) Is it your intent to propose on a resulting solicitation? If not, what would prevent you from being able to propose or being interested in proposing? 3) Do you currently have established relationships with Tier 1 academic and research institutions, national laboratories, and or other research enabling organizations? If not, do you plan to in the near future? 4) Do you have experience recruiting professional resources at the doctoral and graduate level and/or professorates of practice from industry partners? Vendors who wish to respond to this notice should send responses via email no later than Wednesday 15 Mar 18, 12:00 PM Central Time to Robin Swaney at robin.swaney@gsa.gov and Jackie McGlone at jacqueline.mcglone@gsa.gov. Interested businesses should submit a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 10 pages) demonstrating ability to perform the services listed in the Draft Task Requirements document. Proprietary information and trade secrets, if any, must be clearly marked on all materials. All information received that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. All Government and contractor personnel reviewing sources sought responses will have signed non-disclosure agreements and understand their responsibility for proper use and protection from unauthorized disclosure of proprietary information as described in 41 USC 423. The Government shall not be held liable for any damages incurred if proprietary information is not properly identified.
