Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award an interim contract for Home Oxygen services to Rotech Healthcare, Inc. This contract will cover a two-month period from March 1, 2018 through April 30, 2018 (the last possible ordering date for this contract is October 31, 2018 should all of the option to extend the term of the contract under FAR 52.217-8 be exercised). This interim contract is necessary to continue critical services for patient care while the award of a new home oxygen contract pursuant to solicitation VA256-17-R-0994 is completed. The sole source J&A is attached to this notice as required by FAR part 6. The POC for this notice is the Contracting Officer.
