This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification Veteran Owned, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small business and Small Businesses that can provide fuel cell maintenance for VA Loma Linda Healthcare System located at 11201 Benton St., Loma Linda CA 92357. There is no solicitation document as this time. The NAICS is 221118 Other Electric Power Generation with a Small Business size of $50 employees. NOTE: Please ensure that SAM indicates this NAICS code if you are interested in the requirement. Only firms interested and capable should send their information and capability statement and any questions by email to monica.griffin@va.gov no later than 12:00 PM Pacific Standard Time, Friday, March 16, 2018. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Written responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published in the Fedbizopps website. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors shall respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to responding to this sources sought announcement. The Veterans Affairs, Network 22 Contracting Office, is seeking sources for a potential contract (base plus four option years) for the following specifications: The vendor shall provide and perform the following: Remotely monitor key performance of each PureCell System Model 400 Power Plant including kWh, operation hours and availability. Record performance data and make available to the VA at all times. Advise VA with events that vendor determines require service action after events are recorded. Provide 24/7 off-site operational and technical support associated with Power Plant operation including trouble shooting of operational issues, providing technical information related to the operation of the Power Plant and performing remote diagnostics. Customer support personnel shall be available by telephone at all times and shall address e-mail requests received from customer during regular business hours. Vendor shall be responsible for performing preventive maintenance of the power plant per Owner s Manual and as revised to fit as the situation arise. Perform all maintenance during weekday work hours. Perform Quarterly maintenance or earlier based on conditions of items such as Enclosure Air Filter Replacement, Cathode Air Filter Replacement. Response to this notice should include the following: Name of Company Point of Contact Name, phone number, and email address DUNS number Socio-economic status such as Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, VOSB, Women-Owned Small Business, etc. should be included. SDVOSB/VOSB status will be verified using VetBiz Identify your capability of water treatment services Responses to this notice shall be e-mailed to the attention of Monica Griffin, Department of Veterans Affairs, Network 22 Contracting Office (NCO/MP) at monica.griffin@va.gov. by 12:00 PM Pacific Standard Time, Friday, March 16, 2018. Telephone responses will not be accepted. This notice is to assist the VA in determining sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced later. All interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses to this sources sought is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
