- Material Handling Equipment Solicitation The objective of this contract is to furnish all labor and equipment to complete operations necessary to inspect,perform maintenance repair, and testing of Slings, below-the-hook lifting devices, cranes/hoists, forklifts, jacks,jack stands, and other miscellaneous lifting devices as required by Technical Bulletins (TB): TB 43-0142, SafetyInspection and Testing of Lifting Devices, 28 Feb 1997 and TB 43-0156, Stand, Vehicle Supports.The Contract provide inspection, testing, maintenance, inventory, tagging, certification and marking of Slings,Below-the-Hook Lifting Devices, Cranes/Hoists, Forklifts, Jacks, Jack Stands, and other miscellaneous liftingdevices owned or controlled by TARDEC to fulfill the annual requirement in Technical Bulletins (TB): TB 43-0142,Safety Inspection and Testing of Lifting Devices, 28 Feb 1997 and TB 43-0156, Stand, Vehicle Supports.
