- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or request for quotes and no contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. There is no solicitation, specifications or drawings available at this time. Military Sealift Command Norfolk has a requirement for the USNS MERCY (AH-19) for Mid-Term Availability (MTA), on/about 27 August 2018 for 60 days. The place of performance will be a Contractors facility on the West Coast or Gulf Coast. While the finalized list of work items is still under development, a list of the notional work package items is as follows: 1) Potable Water Tank Repairs 2) Main Air Ejector Refurbishment 3) ADG Turbocharger Replacement 4) Potable Water Heater Install 5) Helo Shelter Repairs 6) O2N2 Plant HVAC Mods 7) Various Ventilation Repairs/Cleanings 8) Inclining and Dead Weight Survey Please provide a response demonstrating your firm’s experience in performing similar work. This procurement will be solicited under NAICS Code 336611, Ship Building and Repair, which has a size standard of 1,250 employees. Indicate if your company is a large or small business, and if a small business, indicate if you fall within any of the further classifications (HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, etc.) Please provide your response to this sources sought notice by 10:00 AM Norfolk, VA time on 8 March 2018.
