- Amendment One (1): NPS Pre-solicitation Announcement 140P5118R0007 for the Replacement and Removal of Fire Security Systems is hereby revised to: 1. Incorporate additional description information. 2. To change the response date to March 16, 2018 at 1:00pm Eastern Time (ET). THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT NOTICE ONLY. Additional Description Information; The National Park Service (NPS), Southeast Regional Office (SERO), Atlanta Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Replacement of Fire and Security Systems at Ninety Six National Historical Site (NISI). Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary for the replacement of the existing fire and security systems that are currently combined systems. The new fire and security systems will be separate units. One fire alarm system to be operational for the Administration and the Visitor Center buildings, and a separate security alarm system operational for both buildings. The new systems will be non-proprietary systems in accordance with Statement of Work (SOW). Type of Procurement: Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract with an anticipated start date in April 2018. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code Classification and Set Aside: The NAICS Code is 238220, and the size standard is $15.0 million. This project is set aside 100% for Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB). Responsible WOSB small business sources may submit an offer which, if submitted in a timely manner, will be considered. This pre-solicitation announcement is not a solicitation document, but pre-notice of an upcoming solicitation. Specific instructions on submitting your proposal will be contained in the solicitation documents to be issued on or after the date listed below. Publicizing: The solicitation, Request for Proposal (RFP) and its attachments will be issued electronically, estimated on or about 16 March 2018. The solicitation will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov and FedConnect, website at https://www.fedconnect.net. Proposal documents will be available for download in Microsoft Word, HTML, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe PDF; Specifications will be available in Adobe PDF format. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation. Contract Period of Performance (POP): This project has an overall POP of 180 days. Project Magnitude: Between $25,000.00 and $100,000. Registrations: To be eligible for award, a contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications.
