- SECURITY GUARD AND PATROL SERVICES - BLM NEVADA 140L3918R0004 The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Nevada State Office will issue a Total Small Business Set-Aside competitive solicitation on/about March 23, 2018 for Security Guard Services. Services will include Armed Security Guard Services on site at the Nevada State Office in Reno, NV and After Hours/Weekend Armed Patrol Services for locations in Reno and Las Vegas. The BLM anticipates a single firm fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation. The competitive solicitation, 140L3918R0004, is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19.5, Set-Asides for Small Business. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 561612, Security Guards and Patrol Services, and the size standard is $20.5M (per the SBA's Table of Small Business Size Standards) A Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation package will be available electronically on/about Friday March 23, 2018 at www.fbo.gov and www.fedconnect.net. Proposals will be due no later than Friday April 20, 2018. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring these sites for release of the solicitation package. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered and active and complete the online Representations and Certification in the System for Award Management (SAM) data base via website: http://www.sam.gov. Award will be based on Best Value to the Government in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring www.fbo.gov and www.fedconnect.net for the release of the solicitation package, for any other pertinent information, and for downloading a complete copy of the solicitation package. The government will not provide copies of the solicitation. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
