- PWS RFI Summary The Defense Health Agency is a joint, integrated Combat Support Agency enabling the Army, Navy, and Air Force Medical Departments to provide a medically ready force and a ready medical force to Combatant Commands in both peacetime and wartime. The DHA administers the TRICARE Health Plan providing worldwide medical, dental, and pharmacy programs to more than 9.4 million uniformed Service members, retirees, and their families. The DHA also manages the Military Health System (MHS), a global, comprehensive, integrated system that includes combat medical services, peacetime health care delivery, public health services, medical education and training, and medical research and development. The MHS currently includes 55 military hospitals, 373 military medical clinics and 245 dental clinics. The Infrastructure and Operations Division (I&O), Enterprise Systems Branch (ESB of J-6 Health Information Technology (HIT) is seeking Small Businesses to provide expert technical operations and sustainment support for information systems and services for Army, Navy, and Air Force customers, the Army Medical Command (AMEDD), Military Health System Joint Active Directory (MHS JAD) and Defense Health Agency (DHA environments. Additionally, this RFI is being issued for the purpose of Market Research as set forth under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201 and FAR 10.002. Please use the information contained in the attached RFI Summary and PWS to provide a capabilities statement on how your company could fulfill the government's requirement. The final requirement will be solicited on GSA Schedule 70, Health IT SIN 132 56 to Small Businesses only.
