- Pursuant to the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), the Contracting Officer may solicit from one source if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonably available. The National Science Foundation (NSF), Division of Acquisition Support (DACS), intends to sole source to: Lux Research Inc. 100 Franklin St. 8th Floor Boston, MA 02110 NSF will contract for 1-year of access to Lux Member Research Site Subscription. This database is proprietary to Lux Research. Lux is the recognized leader in tracking global nanotechnology and advanced materials markets and providing in depth, customer-oriented analyses of nanotechnology companies and data. These services and detailed information are only available through the Lux service and is not available from any other source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This synopsis is for informational purposes only. No solicitation document is available.
