Description
The United States International Boundary and Water Commission is requesting information as detailed below: A Sources Sought Notice is a market research tool being used to determine the availability and adequacy of potential business sources prior to determining the method of acquisition. The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential large and small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, 8(a), service disabled veteran owned small businesses (SDVOSB), woman owned small businesses or HUBZones capable of providing maintenance of levee roads and floodways. This is not a request for proposal. It does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the government. Responses in any form are not offers and the government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this Announcement. No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this technical description is strictly voluntary. Requirement: Title: Ocean Outfall Sampling and Monitoring Program The Contractor shall, as an independent contract and not as an agent of the Government, perform non-personal services for the Ocean Outfall Sampling and Monitoring Program for the South Bay International Wastewater Treatment Plant (SBIWTP) located in San Ysidro, San Diego County, California. The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, management and other resources required to perform Water Quality Sampling, Analysis Monitoring, Benthic Monitoring and Fish Monitoring for the wastewater discharge to the Pacific Ocean through the South Bay Ocean Outfall in San Diego, California. The Contract shall also provide all the laboratory services, data interpretation, trend analyses and reporting required for the sampling monitoring program. The monitoring program shall be in compliance with National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit No: CA0108928, Order Number: 96-50, and with the California Regional Water Quality Control Board (CRWQCB) Monitoring and Reporting Program Number: 96-50. Interested parties should submit with their response the following information: 1.Company name and DUNS # 2.POC Information 3.Business size and socio-economic classification (SDVOSB, etc) 4.Capabilities statement to provide required service The above information shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer, Lanisa McCollum at Lanisa.McCollum@ibwc.gov no later than close of business March 29, 2018.
