- DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE DRAWING #0N512424 1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; no further written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation number FA8307-18-R-0037 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), Part 13. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division's Contracting Office (AFLCMC/HNCK), Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA)- Lackland TX, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price purchase order utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures resulting for this solicitation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-96 and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) DPN 20171228. The clauses and provisions reference in this solicitation may be obtained in full text form located at FAR site, http://farsite.hil.af.mil 2. This requirement has been Set-Aside for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334419 - Other Electronic Component manufacturing. The size standard is 750 employees IAW FAR 52.219-1, Small Business Program Representations (Oct 2014). 3. Description of items: This requirement is for 517 each, Special Cable Assembly, NSN: 5995-01-496-2412CS, Part Number: FL51242-2. See Attached Department of Defense Drawing #0N512424W-001. Predominate Material of Manufacture: 2 standard fill connectors and a 6 wire cable. Delivery will be FOB Destination to CCSD/HNCADR, 230 Hall Blvd STE 158, Bldg. 2028, Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX, 78243-7052. Inspection/acceptance will be made at destination. Delivery will begin no later than three (3) months after award with a delivery schedule agreed upon by both parties. 4. Interested offerors must submit their representations and certifications in accordance with the provision at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror representations and Certifications- Commercial Item (Nov 2017) with their quote. 5. Before consulting the Ombudsman concerned parties should first address their concerns, issues, disagreements, and/or recommendation to the Buyer/Contracting Officer for resolution. In Addition, AFARS 5352.201-9101, Ombudsman, will be included in this acquisition's solicitation and contract. The AFLCMC Ombudsman is (Primary) Lt. Col Peter A. The government will award a single purchase order resulting from this RFQ in accordance with the responsible offeror whose offer represents the best value in terms of technical capability/acceptability and price. 7. Quotes must be received by 22 March 2018, NOON CST. Submit quotes to Ms. Trina Cain at trina.cain@us.af.mil NOTE: Although funds are currently available, they may be reallocated prior to contract award due to Continuing Resolution issues.
