- Brand Name Specification The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) has a non-commercial requirement for the facilities, fabrication services and material required to manufacture, test and inspect lip seals to be installed onto the capsule of the Composite Capsule Launching System (CCLS) All-Up-Rounds (AURs) variants. NUWC Division Newport intends to award a Firm Fixed Price purchase order on a Brand Name basis, no substitutions are allowed per the Brand Name Specification, for the following items: CLIN 0001 Lip Seal Assembly, P/N JCM-16664-001 in accordance with Navy Distribution D drawing JCM-1666, and NOR_411E201513-01R2; 790 Each. CLIN 0002 Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) 1 Each. The lip seal is a source-controlled part, Parker-Hannifin is its sole manufacturer. The offeror must be an authorized Parker-Hannifin reseller. The Government will verify reseller status with Parker-Hannifin. Required delivery is 14 weeks after the date of award, F.O.B Destination, Newport, RI 02841. Offerors must be JCP Certified to request the drawing. This requirement is a small business set-aside procurement as concurred with by the NUWCDIVNPT Office of Small Business Program (OSBP) under NAICS Code 326291; size standard 750 employees. Additional details will be released upon issuance of the Request for Quote (RFQ) N66604-18-Q-1307. The RFQ is anticipated for release on or about 22 MAR 2018. The closing date for receipt of quotes will be established in the RFQ. The delivery schedule will be established in the RFQ.
