Interested contractors should watch for the issuance of the solicitation which will have specific instructions and requirements associated with this procurement The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on or before March 15, 2018. The Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), Fayetteville, NC, 2300 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville NC. has a requirement for a contractor to provide labor, tools, materials and equipment necessary to test and certify ventilation systems, hoods and clean rooms to USP 797 standards and all prevailing regulatory standards for certifying compliance at the Medical Center and associated clinics. The prevailing regulatory standards surrounding these systems include (but not limited to): 1. VA Directive s, 2. VA Design Guides, 3. ISO 14644-1 4. other ISO Standards, 5. CAG-003-2006-11 CETA Certification Guide for Sterile Compounding Facilities, 6. USP standards where applicable 7. IEST-RP-CC006.3 Testing Cleanrooms 8. And National Environment Balancing Bureau (NEBB) 9. and Procedural Standards for the Certified Testing of Cleanrooms (Third Edition 2009) Within the Fayetteville VA Hospital System including locations at: 1. Main Hospital: 2300 Ramsey Street Fayetteville, NC 28301 2. Fayetteville Health Care Center: 7300 South Raeford Road Fayetteville, NC 28304 3. Wilmington Health Care Center: 1705 Gardner Road Wilmington, NC 28405. The requirement will be for base period of service of one (1) year from award with four (4) if exercised option years.. In accordance with PL 109-461, this is a 100% SDVOSB set-aside. The NAICS Code for this procurement 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors Size Standard: $15.0 Million All interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov) and verified in VIP (www.VIP.VETBIZ.gov) as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) prior to submitting a Quote.
