Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16, intends to issue and award a sole source contract to Mission Search International, Inc., 2203 N. Lois Ave, Tampa, FL 33607 for six (6) months (April 1, 2018 through September 30, 2018) in accordance with FAR 8.405-6 (a)(1)(i)(B). The current contractor Mission Search International is the only one responsible source capable of providing the services required at the level of quality required because the services are highly specialized and has significant knowledge at this time to provide this critical requirement to Veterans. This continued relationship is crucial until a new long-term contract is awarded competitive for Medical Physicist. The applicable NAICS Code is 561320 (Temporary Help Services) and the size standard is $27.5 Million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Additionally, any response to this notice must show clear, compelling and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the government. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
