- J&A for Maintenance Agreement for an Oxford Instruments of America – Energy Dispersive Spectrometer Detector This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a maintenance agreement for commercial brand name Oxford Instruments of America - Energy Dispersive Spectrometer prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement and attachment constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number N46804-18-T-0001 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The Government contemplates award of a firm-fixed price purchase order. This acquisition is being conducted using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-96. This requirement is full and open competition. NAICS: 334516 Requirement: Annual maintenance agreement for an Oxford Instruments of America model AZTec/mics/x-stream//xmax80, S/N: SC39432//39432 for one (1) base and two (2) one-year options. Period of performance are 02 February 2018 through 01 February 2019 for the base, 02 February 2019 through 02 February 2019 through 01 February 2020 for option 1; and 02 February 2020 through 01 February 2021 for option 2. Quotes will only be accepted from authorized resellers/dealers of the manufacturer. Please see attached Justification and Approval (J&A).
