Description
Amendment to RFI GSA_NCSC_FY18_RFI March 8, 2018 1. The incumbent contract is reported in FPDS-NG under PIID GSQ0617GV0003. 2. This is an RFI. Any capable source may respond. There is no implied promise or obligation on the part of the government to follow this RFI with an RFP on fedbizopps. There is no implied promise or obligation on the part of the government to follow this RFI with an RFQ on any federal acquisition vehicle. Details of procurement planning are not being given at this time. 3. Question: Is the above attachment in any way related to the RFI 00CORP? Answer: The attachments in the RFI on 00CORP and fedbizopps are identical. 4. Question: Is there an option for the resources to be based offsite? Capability statements that deviate from the draft PWS will be accepted for informational purposes only. 5. Question: There is no information around the number of resources/hours per month to be supplied and is there an average number that you are looking for in this requirement? No number of resources is being specified. The work volume will be included in the final solicitation, as the draft PWS indicates in Section J, Attachment 5. Historically, the volume of work in the National Customer Service Center is tracked by individual case to resolve. One or several cases may be received by telephone, email, or chat. Some cases require more time to resolve than others. The numbers are given by both "contact" and Work In Progress (WIP) "case" below. In FY17 there were 154,868 customer contacts. 99,911 cases were worked from phone calls. 98,600 cases were worked from email. 3,900 cases were worked from chat. In FY16, the Center received 94,654 telephone calls, 65,813 emails, and 2,022 chats. The distribution of cases was similar. The volume of work may vary throughout the year. Work surges may change the numbers dramatically, and cannot be predicted.
