- Description
- The DLA Contracting Services Office Richmond, Division 1 intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a vendor to provide all qualified labor, materials, tools and equipment to clean the Clean the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system using a HEPA vacuum and encapsulate any contaminants remaining in the system using an atomizing fogger and appropriate encapsulating solution. The HVAC system includes all interior surfaces of the air distribution system that serves conditioned spaces or occupied zones from the point where air enters the system to the points where air is discharged, return grilles, return ducts to the air handling unit, supply diffusers, dedicated exhaust, ventilation and make-up air system. The work will be done at Defense Supply Center Richmond, 8000 Jefferson Davis Highway, Richmond, VA 23297 -- Building 33 / Bays 33F, 33G, 33H, 33K and Building 32 / 32 M Bay. This is a 100% small business set-aside procurement. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238220, small business size standard of $15 Million. It is anticipated that the award will result in a single award, firm-fixed price contract. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is on/about 13 March 2018. NOTE : The offeror must have a minimum of 5 years experience in cleaning ductwork. Proof must be submitted with the offer or as requested by the Contracting Officer. The offeror must be within a 150 miles radius of the Defense Supply Center Richmond. The official solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website, http://fbo.gov Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued.
