- Description
- Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Atlantic is seeking information and potential supplier sources for a Ku-band terminal incorporating a flat panel electronically steerable array (ESA) Ku-band antenna implementing innovative Metamaterials fabrication techniques. The requirement will be a satellite communications (SATCOM) on the Move (SOTM) terminal delivering electronic beam steering and satellite tracking capability in a low Size, Weight and Power (SWaP) solution. The terminal shall support Open Antenna to Modem Interface Protocol (Open AMIP) and be Type Accredited and approved for operation over the Intelsat and SES space segments. Upon power up, the terminal will leverage Open AMIP to pull space craft data from the modem and auto acquire the network with minimal to no user interaction.
