- Performance Work Statement The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price contract directly to Marcus Autism Center, Inc. (subsidiary of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta) to provide a Dexter Elementary School student Alternate Educational Day Placement services. See attached performance work statement for more information. This requirement is being solicited in accordance with commercial item and simplified acquisition procedures under FAR part 12 and subpart 13.5. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This is not an RFQ. This is a written notice to inform the public of the Government's intent to award on a sole source basis for the required materials.
