- This is a Notice of Intent by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District to award an 8(a) sole source contract to Grand Slam Universal, 315 10th Ave N, Nashville, TN 37203. The NAICS code is 561320. This contract action is being accomplished using other than competitive procedures due to statue that exists that expressly authorizes or requires that this acquisition be made from a specific source or through another agency; specifically FAR 6.302-5(b) (4) for sole source awards under the 8(a) program (15 U.S.C. 637(a)) and in accordance with 13 CFR 124.1-1(c) and FAR 19.8. The work under this contract consists of providing temporary administrative support services for USACE Logistics Activity in Millington, TN as provided in statement of work. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS, however interested firms may submit a capability statement in response to the above requirement with cost/price information by March 16, 2018 @ 10:00 AM CST to Tijuana Harris, Contract Specialist, Phone: (901) 544-3048, Fax: (901) 544-3710, Email: Tijuana.m.harris@usace.army.mil. A determination by the Government not to open competition based responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Regardless of method of delivery, it is the offeror's responsibility to ensure receipt of proposal by the time and date stated herein.
