Description

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for inspection of AAJ MALSR Structure in Binghamton, NY. All interested businesses are encouraged to submit a response to this market survey. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore, any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor ™s expense. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities for fulfilling this requirement. This market survey is also being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists. Depending on the responses received from the market survey, the FAA may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside all or part of the procurement for small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program. The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for this effort is 236210, Industrial Building Construction, with a size standard of $36.5 Million. HOW TO RESPOND TO THIS MARKET SURVEY: Interested contractors should submit the following documents to the point of contact listed at the bottom of this announcement: Capability Statement - This document should identify: a) Type of services provided by your firm b) Number of years in business c) Geographic area where your company can provide services d) Previous experience for work involving similar scope PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A PAGE LIMITATION OF FOUR (4) PAGES MAXIMUM PER RESPONSE TO THIS MARKET SURVEY. THIS IS ONLY A REQUEST FOR GENERAL INFORMATION. EXCESSIVE SUBMISSIONS ARE NOT DESIRED. The deadline to receive comments or questions concerning the market survey is Wednesday, 28 Mar 2018, at 5:00 pm CST. The Contracting Office and Program Office must have sufficient time to review comments/questions in order to provide meaningful feedback and disseminate amongst all interested parties.
