Drawings Specifications DRAFT SOW for the First Task Order DRAFT MACC SOW The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for a multiple award indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) construction contract (MACC) to provide construction services at the NIST locations in Boulder and Fort Collins, Colorado. Work shall be performed in accordance with task orders issued by the Contracting Officer. It is anticipated that most of the task orders issued under this contract will involve renovation of existing facilities. See the attached DRAFT Statement of Work for the MACC. The DRAFT Statement of Work for the first task order, which will be part of the solicitation for the MACC, is also attached to this notice. This acquisition is being conducted as a competitive 8(a) set-aside in accordance with Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act and FAR Subpart 19.8. Competition will be limited to 8(a) firms located in Colorado, and other 8(a) firms with a bona fide place of business within Colorado. The total maximum quantity to be ordered is $9,999,999 for the length of the contract, not to exceed five years. The maximum quantity is calculated as the sum of all orders issued, including modifications, to all the MACC contractors. No more than 4 IDIQ contracts will be awarded from this solicitation. Specific requirements will be identified in written task orders issued by the Contracting Officer. Task orders will range in value from $2,000 to $1,250,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, the size standard for which is $36.5M. It is anticipated the solicitation will be posted to FBO on or about March 27, 2018. No hard copies will be available. A pre-proposal conference, including a site visit for the first task order, will take place on April 4, 2018, at 9:00am at the NIST Boulder facility. A follow-up site visit at the Fort Collins facility will take place that same day, April 4, at 1:00pm. The pre-proposal conference and site visit are not mandatory. The Government will not reimburse any cost associated with the site visit or proposal preparation. You must register in writing through the Contracting Officer identified above in order to attend the conference/site visit. Registrations will be accepted until 4:00 pm (MT) March 29, 2018. Requests to attend the conference/site visit after this date and time may not be honored. US Citizens only. A valid drivers' license will be required to get on the site. Section L of the solicitation will have additional information.
