This is a notice of intent that AFSC/PZABB anticipates to solicit, negotiate and award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Requirements, 5-Year contract (Basic Ordering Period + 4 Ordering Periods), for the repair services of the AN/ALQ-155 Shop Replaceable Units (SRUs); ALQ-155 Pump and Motor, National Stock Number (NSN) 4320-01-103-3087EW, Part Number (PN) 020-000513 used on the B-52H aircraft. This effort is a FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements acquisition to Meggitt Defense Systems, Inc., Cage 62228. NSN 4320-01-103-3087EW will be repaired with a total estimated quantity of 163 each over the five ordering periods. Delivery is 38 weeks after receipt of repairable. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this effort is 811219 (Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance) with the Small Business Size Standard of 20.5 Million dollars. SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED 15 DAYS OR THEREAFTER FROM THIS NOTICE. However, Interested Party or Person(s), responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal(s), which will be considered. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received within the 30 days after issuance of solicitation, or 45 days after the publication date of this synopsis will be considered. OMBUDSMAN: All potential offeror(s) should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the contracting officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
