- THE PURPOSE OF THIS MODIFICATION TO PREVIOUS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE IS TO RESPOND TO QUESTIONS RECEIVED FROM INDUSTRY, UPDATE THE PROJECT OVERVIEW AND EVALUATION CRITERIA, AND EXTEND THE DUE DATE FOR QUALIFICATION PACKAGES (SF330s). RESPONSE TO QUESTIONS: Does the Commissioning Agent need to be separate from the MEP Engineer for the project? RESPONSE: YES. IT IS EXPECTED THAT THE A/E FIRM WILL HIRE AN INDEPENDENT THIRD-PARTY COMMISSIONING AGENT (CxA). Please see the project overview and revised evaluation criteria in the attached revised description. How strict will the criteria be for firms located outside the 250-mile radius? RESPONSE: Due to the nature of the resulting construction project s construction period services, firms not located within the stated geographic area will be considered ineligible. 3. How important will the score be for the 250-mile limitation on this project? RESPONSE: As stated in original sources sought notice, paragraph 3, Selection will be based on the following criteria which are provided in descending order of importance.
