- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial, brand name or equal items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13.1, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ); a separate written solicitation will not be issued. In order for substitute items to be considered, the vendor shall identify the item make and model and describe the features of the item which support the vendor's claim that the item is an equivalent alternative. The Government will evaluate "equal" items on the basis of information furnished by the vendor, identified in the quote, and reasonably available to the Government. The Government is not responsible for locating or obtaining information not otherwise provided by the vendor. The Contractor is responsible for loss of, and/or damage to, the goods occurring before receipt and acceptance of the shipment by the consignee at the delivery point. Date of Delivery Vendors responding to this RFQ shall identify the anticipated delivery date in terms of days after receipt of order (DARO) in their response.
