Description
The quantity required for NSN 6150-01-490-4088NZ in Item 11 has changed from "11 each" to "24 each". The Delivery requirement in Items 11 and 13 has changed from "11 units on 1 May 2019" to "24 units on 1 May 2019". The United States Air Force through the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) at the Oklahoma City Logistics Center (OC-ALC) is contemplating procuring the Line Items cited below for a non-commercial, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract for the purchase of replenishment spares for the F100-PW-229 Special-Purpose Cable Assembly. This procurement is anticipated to be competitive. 1. Estimated Solicitation Issue Date & Estimated Closing/Response Date: 16 March 2018, Closes 16 April 2018 2. Anticipated Award Date: 14 May 2018 3. RFP#: FA8121-18-R-0021 4. PR#: FD2030-18-01444 5. Nomenclature/Noun: Cable Assembly, Special-Purpose 6. INPUT NSN: PN: PSC/FSC: 6150-01-490-4088NZ 4086978 / 421534 6150 7. AMC: 3/B 8. Application(Engine or Air Craft): F100-PW-229 Air Craft Engine 9. History: Last awarded SPM4A1-13-G-0002-BZ04 on 30 September 2014. 10. Description: F100 Special-Purpose Cable Assembly. This item provides power for the augmentor fuel control. Predominant material of manufacture is copper. The pressurized fuel valve is 12.000"L x 12.000"W x 4.000"H and weighs 3.00lbs. 11. Total Line Item Quantity - Item 0001 AF: 11 each, Delivery: 11 each on 1 May 2019. 12. Destination: SW3211 13. Delivery Number 1: Required Delivery of 11 units on 1 May 2019. Early Delivery is acceptable. 14. Set-Aside: Full and Open Competition. 15. Export Control: No 16. Surplus: New, Unused Government Surplus is Acceptable, with Cognizant Engineer Approval of the "Required Information for Surplus Material Evaluation" form, in accordance with (IAW) FAR 11.302(b). 17. Qualification Requirements apply. Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. To be eligible for contract award, the offeror must be an approved source IAW FAR 52.209-1, Qualification Requirements. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of a SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed as a possible source for future awards. Government physically does not have in its possession sufficient, accurate or legible data to purchase this part from other than current source(s). 18. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. 19. Proposals received in response to RFP FA8121-18-R-0021 will be evaluated solely on price, IAW AFFARS MP5315.3-1.2.1.1. Each offeror's past performance record and history will be taken into consideration. 20. UID: Note to Contractor - If unit price exceeds $5,000 then UID requirements will apply. 21.
