Description
Complete Request for Information with Instructions and detailed elements for response submission. This is a Request for Information (RFI) for market research purposes only. This is not a solicitation or request for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations and does not commit the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award, or reimburse respondents for any costs associated with responding to this notice. The Government will treat each response submitted in confidence. The National Park Service's (NPS), Office of Public Health (OPH), within the Department of the Interior (DOI), is seeking information from firms doing business in North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 511210, Software Publishers, or, NAICS code is 541511, Custom Computer Programming Services. This request is issued for the purpose of conducting market research to 1) determine if a commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) database driven, public health assessment and management system exists to support a National Park Service (NPS) public health program; 2) determine if there are other alternate solutions which would better fit NPS requirements; 3) assist NPS to refine its requirements and its acquisition strategy; 4) receive information and feedback on vendor interest; and 5) determine affordability of a solution. The Government may engage Vendors that respond to this RFI by seeking further information about capabilities. See the attached complete RFI document for further information. Vendors may submit questions in accordance with the instructions in the RFI Attachment.
