- Amendment 0001 AMENDMENT 0001: AMENDMENT 0001 IS ISSUED TO CHANGE THE LINE ITEM DESCRIPTION TO SHOW THE FINAL CONN TO BE 230V. NO OTHER CHANGES ARE MADE OR IMPLIED. PLEASE DO NOT BE CONFUSED WITH THE DATE CHANGE INFORMATION ON THE 2ND PAGE OF THE AMENDMENT. THE DUE DATE STILL REMAINS THE SAME AT 22 MARCH 2018 BY 12:00 PM PACIFIC TIME. The US Army Corp of Engineers, Portland District, 333 SW 1st Avenue, Portland, Oregon 97204 is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Baldor-Reliance Brand Name items. Intent is to purchase Baldor-Reliance Industrial Motors, Cat #SUM70506. This solicitation will be offered to small businesses under NAICS 333999. The Baldor-Reliance Motor is a critical spare part of the Submersible Traveling Screens (STS) that we use to protect our salmonoids for the federally mandated Fish Passage Program. The motors provide power to rotate the 96' STS screens, twenty-four hours a day submerged during Fish Passage season. The primary purpose for the screens is to protect the salmonoids from being pulled into the generators. See Contract Line Item (CLIN) 0001 for further details.
