GE Medical Systems will provide repair and maintenance services performed by service engineers/technicians that are certified and/or trained to perform maintenance on GE C-arm 3, computerized equipment used in the Operating Room at the Memphis TN VA Medical Center, 1030 Jefferson Ave. Memphis, TN 38104. Due to the requirement for GE trained and certified engineers/technicians, and manufacturer service plan, this service will be Sole Sourced to GE Medical Systems. All warranties and guarantees on the system are voided if an unauthorized third-party vendor is engaged. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 and 13.106-1(b) (2), soliciting from a single source. The NAICS code is 811219 and has a size standard of $20.5M for this procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit quotations no later than 4:00p.m. CST, March 21, 2018 to: Christina.Smith7@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Disclaimer and Important Notes: This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate.
