- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command Contracts Department (AIR 2.3.2.5), Patuxent River, MD announces its intention to award a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) to Ultra Electronics Flightline Systems (CAGE Code 50027) to procure continued design, fabrication, qualification, and delivery of hardware, software, and firmware upgrades/updates of software defined sonobuoy receivers installed on P-3C, P-8A, and MH-60R aircraft. The procurement also includes supporting stimulator/simulator test equipment (i.e. Many Channel Programmable Acoustic Processor Stimulator (McPAPS) Radio Subsystem (McPRS) units and Portable Acoustic Sonobuoy Simulators (PASS) units). The Air Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Systems Program Office (PMA-264) has the requirement in Fiscal Years (FY) 2019 through 2024 for the aforementioned hardware and support. A sole source contract is consistent with the terms identified within this announcement upon the basis of the authority provided in 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. As the Original Equipment Manufacturer, Flightline Systems is the only source capable of satisfying the Government's requirement. This notice is not a request for proposals. No phone inquiries will be entertained. Capability statements were previously requested under Sources Sought announcement N00019-18-RFPREQ-PMA-264-0014 dated 24 January 2018. The government has reviewed these and additional submissions will not be considered.
