- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE------------------------------------------------------ THE FULL SOLIICTATION WILL BE POSTED THIS WEEK. For the provision of Lookout Services for fire detection, location and reporting at up to four (4) Lookout Facilities in the Modoc National Forest, California. The Base Period is for the months of June through September of 2018. There will be an Option for up to an additional 30 days before and/or after the Base Period. The Government anticipates offering multiple awards, but a single award may be made if a single contractor can provide Lookout personnel to all four facilities simultaneously. At least one Primary and one Alternate Lookout are required for each facility. Lookouts are required to meet certain qualifications such as prior experience and good vision and health to be detailed in the solicitation. A pre-quote site visit is NOT scheduled but interested vendors will be welcome to make an appointment to visit the site or request clarification from the technical point of contact after the solicitation is published.
