- Description
- Potential sources shall be capable of furnishing all labor, materials, facilities and equipment required to accomplish the new manufacture of the item(s). Generally, this entails the procurement/manufacture of component parts, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, and shipping. Additionally, potential sources may be responsible for supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting production requirements, long-lead time parts procurement, diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortage issues, and shipping serviceable assets. The unit prices will be established at the time of a contract award. This effort includes one NSN. 1560-01-631-3951 The following firms are approved to manufacture this material: GKN AEROSPACE TRANSPARENCY SYSTEM, CAGE 86175 P/N 74B350060-119 BOEING COMPANY, THE CAGE 0PXV4 P/N 74B350060-119 Any firm not currently approved to manufacture this item will have to submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package. This procurement will not be delayed waiting for SAR approval. A Technical Data Package is available to assist in the creation of a SAR Package.
