Description

The F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office intends to issue two cost plus fixed fee orders under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-16-G-0002 on a sole source basis to United Technologies Corporation, Pratt & Whitney Military Engines, East Hartford, CT to provide Site Activation Planning support in accordance with the Site and Ship Activation Management Plan. Contract award is anticipated for the first quarter of fiscal year 2019. These orders support the F-35 U.S. Services, Non-U.S. DoD Partners, and Foreign Military Sales. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Government not to compete these proposed contract actions based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
