Description

The purpose of this project is to identify beneficial and adverse impacts to the human and natural environment of proposed construction, maintenance, repair, installation, and operation of up to fifteen (15) tower sites (RVSS and relay towers) proposed by U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) Swanton Sector. The environmental documents will address the proposed Remote Video Surveillance System (RVSS) and relay/communications tower sites as well as adding new hardware to an existing command and control center (C2) facilities, any necessary access or approach roads, and related utility and fiber optic installation. A draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached for review. Vendors are encouraged to review this announcement on the FAA �s Contract Opportunities Website at https://facco.faa.gov. The purpose of this announcement is to conduct a market survey to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from interested vendors in accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.1.2.1. This market survey will enable the FAA to review responses that are current and will assist with acquisition planning based on current data. Responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. The FAA will review the responses to this Market Survey and will make appropriate acquisition planning decisions that best meet the FAA �s needs. The results of the Market Survey will assist the FAA to determine the extent of the requirement that may be set-aside for small businesses, socially and economically disadvantaged small businesses [8(a)] and Service disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code and size effort applicable to this requirement: NAICS: 541620 Environmental Consulting Services Size Standard: $15.0 M Interested firms submitting the response are requested to provide the following information: COMPANY INFORMATION - Name and address of company - Point of contact (name, title, telephone number, and email address) CAPABILITY STATEMENT � This document should identify the following: - Capability of providing the services - Number of years in business Interested firms are asked to submit a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification if applicable. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to this announcement. Therefore any cost associated with the submission is solely at the interested vendor �s expense. All responses to this market survey should be received by 5:00 p.m. Central (Oklahoma) Time, Wednesday, April 4, 2018.
