- THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO: 1. Extend the solicitation closing date to now read as 11:59 p.m. E.S.T. Tuesday May 01, 2018. 2. Update site visit date of March 20th, 2018 for MAYPORT along with site visit date of March 21st, 2018 for MARMC to now reflect the following changes: MAYPORT Site Visit: Site visit is scheduled to provide potential contractors the opportunity to the view the installation location. All visitors must complete the Visitor Data Request Form or the Foreign Visitor Data Request Form (copies attached to the solicitation) and send to Brian Jolley no less than seven (7) business days before scheduled date of site visit. No camera phones or laptops will be allowed in the shipyard. Brian Jolley may be reached by phone at 757-927-0670, or by e-mail address at brian.jolley.ctr@navy.mil. DO NOT PROVIDE THIS INFORMATION TO THE BUYER, THIS IS PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION AND SHOULD ONLY BE PROVIDED TO THE SECURITY OFFICE AT Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (Mayport, Florida). Site Visit is scheduled for: April 03, 2018 at 9:00am at Southeast Regional Maintenance Center, Mayport, Florida. Place of assembly is Building Quarterdeck of Building 1488. Badges will be required and given out during assembly. Please arrive promptly. **All questions generated by the site visit must be submitted in writing to the Acquisition Specialist, Kevin Williams, at kevin.h.williams@dla.mil no later than 10 days after the site visit. Answers to the questions will be provided by an amendment to the solicitation. Answers to the questions will be provided by an amendment to the solicitation. 3. If necessary, revise proposals accordingly but at a minimum resubmit compliance/exception statements in accordance with the Purchase Description and return the signed amendment to the issuing office in block 6 on or before the close of business Tuesday May 01, 2018. 4. Proposals received in response to this amendment will be considered valid for 120 days from the date and signature on the amendment unless otherwise indicated in your response. 5. Proposals must be submitted in accordance with Attachment A "Addendum to 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items". 6. Receiving signed Amendment 0001 and compliance/exception statements without submitting revised pricing will extend an offerors original proposal pricing 120 days from the date and signature on the amendment unless otherwise indicated in your response 7. All other terms and conditions remain the same. This is the solicitation notice. The solicitation will be available via DIBBS at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on March 06, 2018.
