ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Types of Photographs: Evidence Based Design studies have shown that artwork can have a positive impact on the healing process. The following should be taken into consideration when making artwork selections for this campus. Photography shall be nature images and should be calming, have visual depth, should appear healthy, fresh and hopeful. Photographs shall be in congruence with the local architecture, style and landscape. Vendor will provide a catalogue of no less than 500 images to the Lebanon VAMC Interior Designer to make photography selections. Vendor should assume that there will be no duplicate requests and that each piece will be a unique image. Photos shall be printed and laminated on stretched canvas with wrapped edges. Photos shall be dry-mounted to foam core, matted with 2 white paper mat, glazed with UV-Plexiglass. Frames shall be Larsen-Juhl, Arqadia, Finish Gold & Black, Width 1-9/16, Style Contemporary Distressed, Rabbet 7/8. Vendor may substitute another product with similar features only at the approval of the Lebanon VAMC Interior Designer Frame 4180 Delivery of items shall be direct to the Lebanon VA Medical Center Warehouse. Delivery must be coordinated with Customer Point of Contact (POC). Contractor shall make all necessary accommodations. (JAN 2008) 852-219-10 VA Notice of Total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside (a) Gray market items are Original Equipment Manufacturer s (OEM) goods sold through unauthorized channels in direct competition with authorized distributors. This procurement is for new OEM medical supplies, medical equipment and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment (i.e. replacement parts) for VA Medical Centers.   No remanufactures or gray market items will be acceptable.   (b) Vendor shall be an OEM, authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller for the proposed medical supplies, medical equipment and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment (i.e. replacement parts), verified by an authorization letter or other documents from the OEM, such that the OEM s warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM.   All software licensing, warranty and service associated with the medical supplies, medical equipment and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions. (c) The delivery of gray market items to the VA in the fulfillment of an order/award constitutes a breach of contract.   Accordingly, the VA reserves the right enforce any of its contractual remedies. This includes termination of the contract or, solely at the VA s election, allowing the Vendor to  replace, at no cost to the Government, any remanufactured or gray market item(s) delivered to a VA medical facility upon discovery of such items.   (ix) Evaluation of this requirement will be based on PRICE ONLY.
