- Description
- USAID/Haiti Office of Acquisition and Assistance intends to issue a sole source modification to the National Rural Electrical Cooperative Association of Arlington, VA in the amount of $3,974,495. This procurement is to provide modern electricity services in the Caracol Industrial Park in Haiti and progressively select adjacent communes for a period of one year. The purpose of the intended award is to provide continuity of critical energy services until a private operator has been procured by the Government of Haiti. The US Government intends to procure from only one source under the Agency Authority AIDAR 706.302-70 (b) (5): an award for the continued provision of highly specialized services when award to another resource would result in substantial additional costs to the Government or would result in uancceptable delays". This is NOT a request for a competitive proposal and no solicitation package is available or will be issued.
