Description

The Defense Logistics Agency, DLA Maritime Norfolk, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Contracting Office, intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract to manufacture in accordance with the attached ordering data and the Contract Data Requirements Lists (DD1423-1's) (4) Aft Sleeve Bearings, (6) Fwd. Sleeve Bearings and (4) Sleeve Couplings to be used on the USS BUSH. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336612 (Boat building, shaft propulsions). The procurement will be unrestricted and solicited for full and open competition. The contract line items are as follows: 0001: (4) EACH, SLEEVE BEARING, AFT SLEEVE, STERN TUBE SHAFT, AFT BEARING, COPPER-NICKEL ALLOY UNS# C96400, DIM 30.000" OD X 27.687" ID X 6 FT. 7.250 IN. LG 0002: (6) EACH, SLEEVE, BEARING, FWD SLEEVE, STERN TUBE COUPLING COPPER-NICKEL ALLOY UNS#C96400, DIM 30.000" OD X 27.656" ID X 8 FT. 5.625 IN LG 0003: (4) EACH, SLEEVE COUPLING SLEEVE, STERN TUBE COUPLING, COPPER-NICKEL ALLOY UNS# C96400, DIM 30.375" X 27.719" X 17.937" The solicitation number will be SPMYM1-18-R-0008 and the solicitation is expected to be posted on or around 14 Mar 2018 and close 16 April 2018.
