- The CDSE offers distance learning training courses as well as college and graduate level courses designed specifically to develop leaders within the Department of Defense (DoD) and Federal Government security community. CDSE currently uses the Sakai platform for the delivery of online asynchronous learning content, via a third-party managed hosting provider. Using this capability allows CDSE to make all courses available to U.S. military members and government employees worldwide. Some courses also include opportunities for mid-career security professionals to study and learn together in a classroom setting.
