- Description
- A solicitation is to be released for the repair of roofing at Building 1792. The existing 3827 Square Foot (SF) black Ethylene-Propylene-Diene-Monomer (EPDM) roofing system and the 8368 SF Built-Up roof system both leak and show signs of internal damage. Both existing roofing systems are dry rotted, seams are failing and roofing nails are protruding through the membrane. Both roofing systems have reached the end their service life and need to be replaced with a built-up bituminous roofing system on all three (3) sections of Building 1792. Construction requirements may also include, but are not limited to the following: - demolition - mechanical/HVAC, electrical - plumbing and - haul away of waste material Project location: Building 1792, NAS JRB, Fort Worth, TX 76127. In accordance with FAR Provision 36.204 and DFARS 236.204, the magnitude of construction for this requirement is between $100,000 and $250,000. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238160 with size standard is $15 million. Tentative date of solicitation release: 29 March 2018 Estimated construction times: TBD at award in conjunction with proposal Tentative closing date for Proposals: 30 April 2018 at 11:00 AM Central Time In accordance with FAR 6.203, this acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside Contract type: Firm Fixed Price All inquiries shall be via email only.
