Description

This Sources Sought/Market Survey Notice is being conducted by VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105 to identify all sources that are capable of providing guidance and support with trouble-shooting any issues with developing statistical code for running template matching, evaluating the quality of matching, assessing template matching versus regression in simulated patient data, and for comparing the utility of template matching versus standard regression approaches. The contractor will provide input on: Template Matching Simulations. Throughout different phases of the study, the contractor shall be present for research team meetings on a quarterly basis to review preliminary findings. The contractor will provide feedback on the set-up of the simulations, including the data generation process for simulated patient data. If necessary, the contractor will suggest alternative approaches. Comparing Template Matching versus Conventional Regression Approaches. Also at team meetings, the contractor will review findings of simulations using template matching approaches versus conventional regression. The contractor will recommend refinements and alterations to the template matching approach as necessary and assist the research team in selecting the optimal approach to template matching. Developing Template Matching Infrastructure. Also at research meetings, the contractor will review findings about the quality of matching achieved. The contractor will help the research team decide whether the quality of matching achieved is sufficient, or whether alternative matching algorithms must be considered, or whether alternative approaches to assessing match quality should be pursued. SPECIFIC Measurable Deliverables: Attend quarterly team meeting: 4 meetings per year totaling (4-6 hours/year) Complete a written memo every 6 months delivered to project manager and investigator via email summarizing key recommendations that are based on their prior experience/expertise of real world applications with Template Matching to assist the project team If this is a service your business can provide, respond to this Sources Sought by Thursday, March 22, 2018; 4:00 P.M.
