Description
NSN 0Q-1680-016216824-EY, REF NR 3890AS004107-01, QTY 3 EA, DELIVERY FOB ORIGIN. Solicitation Number: N00383-18-Q-P343 NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit Jansen's Aircraft Systems Controls (0R293), Tempe, AZ for the manufacturing of the following item. The intention of this solicitation is to award a firm fixed priced order. This contract will include the procurement of the following item: NIIN NOMENCLATURE QTY 016216824 CHECK VALVE 3 The government intends to contract on a sole source basis with Jansen's Aircraft Systems Controls. Jansen's Aircraft Systems Controls is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only known source for manufacturing these parts. This procurement is being processed in accordance with Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The applicable NAICS code is 336413. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, quotations orcapability statements. Based on Market Research, the Government's need may be met by a type of item customarily available in the commercial market place that would meet the definition of a commercial item at FAR Subpart 2.1. The contracting officer shall solicit & award any resultant contract using the policies & procedures of FAR Part 12. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 Days (30days if award is issued under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA))after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conducta competitive procurement.
