Description

The United States Marine Corps (USMC) is interested in assessing market abilities to provide copy editing services to update print and web-based Marine Corps publications with gender neutral pronouns. The USMC has approximately 160 publications (estimated at 21,000 pages) that have about 13,000 instances of single gender pronouns. The USMC seeks to understand market capabilities to review publications, identify single gender instances, and edit and update (both text and art) documents to reflect appropriate gender neutral pronouns (both the pronoun and any associated impacts on text) within one (1) year. Publication edits and updates may include modifying text to enhance readability. Deliverables will be presented to the Government in the applicable electronic file format (i.e., Adobe FrameMaker 2015, Illustrator 2017, Photoshop 2018, and Acrobat Pro DC 2015), comply to all style standards, and be ready for posting to Government websites.
