- Aware Special Notice/ Notice of Intent The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a one-time, sole source, fixed price contract with Aware Inc., 40 Middlesex Turnpike, Bedford, MA 01730 for the purpose of funding software program license renewals. Based on market research, and Government experts in the field, it has been determined that only this license renewal can be facilitated to Aware due to proprietary and configuration access. The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement to the attention of: Kelli Parker, email address: knparker@fbi.gov by Wednesday, March 28, 2018 (2:00 pm Eastern). Emailed responses will only be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
