- This procurement is for NSN: 1095-01-598-4471, knife, combat. This requirement is an acquisition for an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) for one NSN, and is for DLA stock to support the continental United States (CONUS). This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The approved source is Benchmade Knife Co., CAGE: 041N2. The estimated Annual Demand Quantity is 5158. Quantity ranges, if any, and delivery schedule will be noted on the RFP. FOB and Inspection and Acceptance information will be listed in the RFP. The term will be a three-year base period with one, one-year option to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed four years. Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items under FAR Par 13.5 are applicable. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and delivery. IAW FAR 19.1405(b), this acquisition is set aside for competition restricted to service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns. The Small Business size standard is 750 employees and the NAICS code is 332999. Other Than Full and open competition in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) applies. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. Dollars. The solicitation will be available approximately 3/28/2018, at https://dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp. Hard copies are not available.
