Description

Solicitation Number: N00383-18-R-RAFT NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit Air Cruisers Company LLC (70167), Wall Township, NJ for the repair of the specified items attached to this notice. The intention of this solicitation is to award a repair requirements long term contract (LTC) with firm fixed unit prices. The Repair LTC will include three base years and two option years. The government intends to contract on a sole source basis with Air Cruisers Company LLC. Air Cruisers Company LLC is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only known source for manufacturing and repairing these items. This procurement is being processed in accordance with Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The applicable NAICS code is 326299. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Based on Market Research, the Government ™s need may be met by a type of item customarily available in the commercial market place that would meet the definition of a commercial item at FAR Subpart 2.1. The contracting officer shall solicit and award any resultant contract using the policies and procedures of FAR Part 12. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, quotations or capability statements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Source Approval is required. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. If you are not an approved source you must submit, together with your proposal, the information detailed in the NAVSUP-WSS Source Approval Information Brochure for Repair. Responses to this notice of intent shall be submitted no later than fifteen 15) days from the date of this synopsis to NAVSUP WSS Philadelphia, Attn: Ms. Noreen McDonough, Contract Specialist, Code (N762.03), 700 Robbins Ave, Bldg 1, Philadelphia, PA 19111. Air Cruisers Company LLC will be solicited on or after 10 April 2018 and the Solicitation will close 30 days after the effective date of the solicitation.
