Description
General Description: Pre-Solicitation Notice in reference of Request for Proposal for a Five (5) YR Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for the repair and or modification of the CH-53K platform. Detail Description: NAVSUP Weapon System Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (78286) located in Stratford, CT for the repair and/or modification of 352 NIINs in support of the CH-53K. NAVSUP WSS plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about 16 Apr 2018. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The RFP is anticipated to remain open for 30 days. The intention of this solicitation is to award a Five (5) Year Repair Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA). Please see attached documentation. Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is the only known approved source for providing repair and/or modification support for CH-53K components. This procurement is being processed in accordance with Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). The applicable NAICS code is 336413. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Government Source Approval is required. Only the previously approved source will be solicited for this requirement. Any other interested sources will be required to submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package. A SAR brochure is available upon request. There are neither drawings nor technical data available for these items. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the Free Trade Agreements Act and/or the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements.
